“I see my path, but I don’t know where it leads. Not knowing where I’m going is what inspires me to travel it.” – Rosalia de Castro
Sevgi Ceyda Sairoglu. Thats me… Always open to new experiences. Whatever it is; experimenting with different food, visiting new countries, challenging myself with new activities…
I was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey. It’s a very lovely city on the Aegean coast of Turkey. After high school, I started to move. Istanbul, Tilburg, Thailand, Oxford etc…
I completed my bachelor degree (B.A. in Economics) in Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey and my Master’s (MSc in Economics for Development) in the University of Oxford, UK.
I moved to Ankara in April 2014 for work. Ankara offered more than a job to me :). After my first year in Ankara I met the “special one”. One year later we got married.
New chapter… I became “we”.. and we moved to Istanbul in September 2016.
This blog is for the ones who are curious about my (constantly changing) geographic coordinates, about what I eat and don’t eat, my cultural explorations and my running, cycling and swimming experiences.
